2009 will be a big year for NEON BLUE. The band continues to book ever larger outdoor venues in the form of Country Music Festivals for more and more of their live performances. 2009 will also see continued progress towards a new studio album (anticipating a 2010 release). "Mark has been working hard on new original material & we continue to refine the sound & style that we want to come across on the second album" (according to Sean Doney, brother & co-producer with Mark on the upcoming second album. "2009 will also see some roll changes for the guys as Mark will be laying down the bass guitar & picking up the accoustic & mouth harp on some of the new as well as some of the older tracks when we perform live".
